 Store Operations

  • Are there any other locations of Quest Bookshop? 

Good question! Quest Bookshops are also located in Wheaton, Illinois and Seattle, Washington. The NYC location is located at 240 on E 53rd Street between 2nd and 3rd Ave. in the Midtown area. It's right next door to the NY Theosophical Society building.

  • What are the bookshop's hours of operation?   

 We are open Monday-Friday, 10AM to 6PM.

  • What type of books are available? 

The Quest Bookshop NYC has a variety of books on all religions and creeds that serve your spiritual needs.

Payment Methods

  • What are acceptable online and in person payment methods at Quest Bookshop NYC?

The bookstore accepts cash, gift certificates, Apple Pay,Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards. 

  • Is store pick-up available? 

It sure is! Just give us call at our NYC location at (212) 758-5521 so we can be able to find the book you are looking for or stop by if you are in the area between 10AM-6PM, Monday-Friday next door to the NY Theosophical Society building.

Gift Info

  • If I want my in-store purchase gift wrapped, is that available?       

Gift wrapping is available. 

  • Are gift certificates available? 

    Yes they are! You can purchase only in person at the moment. We will keep you updated when that changes.


  • What if my gift certificate does not cover the total cost of my purchase?   

The gift certificate can be used with a credit card and cash payment to cover the total cost of purchase.


  • Is there a way to find out the balance on my gift certificate?

You will receive a receipt that would show the balance of the gift certificate and we keep a carbon copy in our records.

 Online Orders/Shipping Info


  • Will my order online show that my purchase was successfully processed?

As you complete your order, the screen will show that your order is completed and that you will receive an email shortly after confirming the same.

  • If my mailing order is delayed, is there a way to track the package? 

Yes, all purchased items are shipped from our bookstore and we will be able to look it up for you and track the package in the mailing process. 


  • When can I expect my delivery to arrive?

Please allow the delivery of the United States Postal Service to take at least 4-14 business days from the time the order is shipped.

  • What is a business day?

Monday through Friday are our business days.​

  • Do you ship outside of the United States?


  • On the website, does the shopping cart show the shipping and tax fees?

It includes a Flat Rate Shipping fee that excludes a Sales Tax. After you add an item to your cart, checkout will show the total cost. 

  • How do I remove an item from the shopping cart at checkout?

Inside of your shopping cart, there is an "X" in the corner righthand side of the item's title. Click on it and your item will be removed showing the cart at "0".

Book Info

  • Would I be able to sell my written published books here?   

We need to know first if it fits within our niche of books that we sell here.

  • What are the conditions of the books that you sell?

  1. New: Brand new condition, untouched.

  2. Used: Slight wear and tear.

  3. Rare: Some wear and tear and others are as good as new.
