Join us for a talk with Zane Stein about Chiron.
Chiron is a small icy small body orbiting the Sun in the outer solar system. Discovered in 1977 by the American astronomer Charles Kowal. Chiron is about 125 miles in diameter and travels in an unstable, eccentric orbit that crosses that of Saturn and passes just inside that of Uranus with a period of 50.45 years.
Many astrologers are unsure exactly what to do with Chiron and how to incorporate it into astrological interpretation. Some refer to it as the Wounded Healer, which is definitely part of its symbolism, but it is much more than that.
Zane will give us a handle on how to integrate Chiron into our work with charts. He will begin sharing a little bit of its history and astronomy, sharing how some of its early keywords were found. He will then paint a picture of Chiron’s…
